True Religion Brand Jeans is an American clothing company established in April 2002 by Jeff Lubell and Kym Gold and is based in Vernon, California. True Religion Brand Jeans uses premium denim, some of which is made in the United States. In 2009, True Religion was sold in about 900 boutiques and specialty stores in 50 countries on six continents.

A customer they lost talks about "I ordered a belt from true religion for about $100 and it was horrible quality. Fake $10 belts on amazon have higher quality, the metal feels like plastic, and the leather is a joke. I don’t recommend any of their products".

"Company has been a sinking ship for quite sometime and is currently going through its second bankruptcy. While second chances are always great, TR will have to get to the core of its issues: bringing in better talent, initiating a better culture, communication, AND transparency. Since the new CEO has come in, True Talks (Company-Wide Meetings) were no longer held, which left employees feeling in the dark. Leadership is seriously lacking diversity."

"Upper management/senior leadership team is clueless. They allow horrible decisions to be made for this company. The blame culture here is nasty, everyone has someone else to blame for the bad decisions being made. The unrealistic deadlines that they’re enforcing? Oh that’s because of a different department. The completely overwhelmed and under qualified creative director that they hired to look cool on Instagram & fit in with a culture that already liked the brand & didn’t need us to try this hard? Oh that’s the old CEOs decision and they obviously can’t change it even though she was viciously fired (as she should be). They lay off people that actually care about the company and have put 10+ years in, they ignore the only people that actually meet the insane deadlines, they hire and promote the absolute worst “managers” (I don’t even want to call them that because if you report to them you’ll be “managing up” aka coaching your manager through everything they do while you continue to not be paid for it). Don’t forget that they change their customer and aesthetic literally every 2-3years and it’s on a continuous loop, they recently switched back to designing for a customer they tried to get in 2014 & it didn’t work then either (bankruptcy). This company is a mess. It’s a shame because it was something great."

"Upper management is completely lacking in any kind of motivation or willingness to help. Most of the shortcomings of this company is blamed on the field teams and the store managers. Area managers and district managers will constantly talk about store managers that have left the company and blame short fallings on them and blame the lack of business on the past employee. This company is a joke to work for and there are rumors that they will no longer have brick and mortar stores by next holiday. Get out while you can because true religion is going down fast."

"The company has been down-trending for years, with some half-hearted attempts to recapture our clients interest and boost the company thru sales and public opinion. Unfortunately, it has been apparent for ~3 years that the company is only interested in making decisions that benefit us in the short term. There has not been a long-term trajectory for some time. It is obvious to all of us that the SLT and the Board know that a gray storm cloud is brewing over our future, and every day the longevity of our brand gets shorter and shorter. The Board of Directors is clearly not focused on genuinely turning around the company, but instead, just interested in their ROI – It was per the Board that 401(k) match was cancelled, no one received a bonus or merit increase, and lay-offs occurred two weeks ago. The SLT is nearly non-existent at this point, and the SLT members that are left are in fear of themselves being laid-off – The vibe feels impassionate all around. The fear culture grows more intense day over day, creating chaos and tension between all employees. The new CEO is under-qualified and if making poor business choices. I would strongly and passionately advise anyone to not go near this company for potential employment."

"I ordered the true logo jogging set on sale at $83.99 for the bottom and $79.99 for the top. 3 weeks later it dropped down to $29.99 each. Imagine my dismay when the price dropped a whole $100. I called customer Service which was closed. I then sent to seperate emails and got no response. It has not neen 30 days yet which is their return policy. All I wanted was a refund or credit for the difference. I would have sent it back, got a refund and repurchased the sale item but, I'm out of town. Very disappointed, I fell like I got robbed. Won't be in a hurry to buy from you all again... Sales only!!"

"I have placed an order and paid for the shipping delivery which was £15. It’s taken weeks to arrive. And now I have recieved a fee from Royal Mail for £15 which would make delivery total £30. This is not disclosed when purchasing any product. If I do not pay the extra £15 my items will be returned. I have emailed customer services and have had no reply. I have had to email again. I am limited on time for a response about this problem. Yet any contact from them is minimal."
